WEEK THREE INTRODUCTION.

Picture
The future of family and consumer sciences programs depends on current and future teachers' ability to promote and advocate.  An individual teacher needs to be able to tell the story of the effectiveness of secondary family and consumer sciences programs to an audience of students, parents, guardians, administrators, community members, other teachers, and policy makers/stakeholders.  A clear, concise and outcome-driven explanation can assist teachers in justifying the existence of family and consumer sciences programs in their community, state, and across the nation.
