WEEK TWO TASKS.
TASK 1:
Philosophy of Teaching: Students are encouraged to develop their philosophy for Family and Consumer Sciences teaching in a manner that it is easy to articulate, front and center during the curriculum development process and serves as a foundation to all that they do with and for students in the family and consumer sciences classroom. Students develop a summary of what teaching family and consumer sciences means to them and how housing and interior design content fits into that philosophy statement.

TASK 2:
Try a Few for Review: To get students thinking about the lesson planning process again, they practice writing a few objectives. Specifically, they complete an objective for each domain of learning (Cognitive, Psychomotor, Affective). The following document provides an overview of objective writing tools. Students are reminded of the importance of state and national standards when planning curriculum.
